PORT HUENEME : Woman Stabbed During Argument
A 40-year-old woman was stabbed repeatedly in the head and chest during an argument with another woman in a Port Hueneme residence Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
The victim, Geraldine Abram, 40, was in serious condition Sunday evening at St. John’s Regional Medical Center, a nursing supervisor said.
Port Hueneme police were called about the stabbing at 3:45 p.m. and found the victim in a residence on the 200 block of East Clara Street, police dispatcher Kristen Cornejo said.
Police learned that Abram had been stabbed in a residence near where she was found, Cornejo said.
She had been involved in an argument with a woman at the other residence and “the argument escalated into a physical confrontation,” Cornejo said.
There were no witnesses to the stabbing. Police had made no arrests by Sunday evening.
