Humane Traps Best for Rats

I do sympathize with anyone who has rodent infestation, as I too have recently suffered from an invasion of mice into my home. However, the answer is not using poisons which can kill pets who come across dead victims of their usage, nor is it sticky traps which kill the hapless rodents by letting them starve to death--a painful end indeed and certainly unwarranted.

The alternative I have used is a humane trap. It is clean, compact and contains no devices which may trap unsuspecting fingers. The rodent enters, but cannot leave. You simply open the trap in a nearby field and let the creature go unharmed.
