SAN FERNANDO : Fire Hits Patio Furniture Shop
An electrical fire caused about $175,000 damage to a single-story commercial building Wednesday in San Fernando, but no one was hurt, a Fire Department spokesman said.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze at California Patio Furniture, 719 N. Arroyo Ave., in about 20 minutes, said Michael Little, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire broke out about 10:30 a.m. Little could not say how the fire started, except that it was electrical.
Damage was estimated at $125,000 to the contents of the building, and $50,000 to the structure, Little said.
