Norris-Brown Fight Rescheduled for Dec. 5 on Pay-Per-View Card
The Terry Norris-Simon Brown junior-middleweight championship boxing match, thought to have been canceled Sept. 26 when Brown wound up in a hospital with chest pains, has been rescheduled for Dec. 5 at Caesars Palace.
The Norris-Brown bout will join two other title bouts on a pay-per-view television card--Julio Cesar Chavez (82-0) vs. Greg Haugen (30-4-1) and Michael Nunn (38-1) vs. Victor Cordoba (18-4-2).
The Norris-Brown fight was called off within two hours of its scheduled start time. Brown checked into a hospital, complaining of chest pains and vertigo.
He was cleared to fight after medical tests.
The Forum announced Wednesday that its Rafael Ruelas-Jorge Paez bout originally scheduled for Oct. 19, which was postponed when Paez was injured in a motorcycle accident Friday in Mexicali, Mexico, will be rescheduled for some time in the next 30 days.
