FOOT FOCUS: How long would it take to run across America? David Warady of Huntington Beach did it in just over 521 hours--stretched over 64 days. But then, he used 20 pair of tennis shoes. Warady won the recent Runner’s World Trans America Footrace, from Huntington Beach to New York City, with wife Kelly in a support van. Warady, a 35-year-old computer programmer, was honored by the City Council this week. . . . Says Warady: “If you’re focused and motivated, you can obtain what you think you can in life.”
