Countywide : Columbus Day Observance
Monday is Columbus Day. The following is a list of what will be open and closed:
Banks: Some major banks, including Bank of America, Security Pacific and First Interstate, will be closed in observance of the holiday. Pomona First Federal and Union Federal Savings branches will be open.
Courts: Orange County Municipal and Superior courts will be closed, as will federal courts.
Cities: Most city halls will be open and most city libraries will have normal hours.
Schools: Most schools, community colleges and universities will remain open.
Bus service: Orange County Transit District buses will run on the normal weekday schedule.
Trash pickup: Monday will be a normal trash day.
Mail: Post offices will be closed, and mail will not be delivered.
