Teen Deaths and Gang Violence

I am appalled at the recent number of shooting incidents at or near our schools. Clearly, law enforcement is not doing enough to protect the young people of our community. School officials, already handcuffed by massive budget cuts, cannot do the job alone. If there is one safe haven for children, surely it ought to be on school grounds.
