Taming Madonna: The BBC said Monday in London that it would be sparing its viewers any blushes by severely editing rock superstar Madonna’s latest raunchy video. The seven-minute video called “Erotica” will be cut down to just three minutes for the British Broadcasting Corp.’s “Top of the Pops” program to be aired Thursday. Meanwhile, Madonna arrived in Britain Monday night on a flying visit to promote her new book, “Sex,” after making a tame, unrevealing appearance the previous day on France’s premier television talk show.
