WHALE OF A DEAL: Anaheim sports arena officials won’t be happy with the new issue of the Hockey News, which says only one pro team--the Hartford Whalers--is losing money. Arena officials had hoped to persuade a struggling hockey team to consider moving here when the arena opens next year. . . . The Whalers have already been approached for an Anaheim move, but recently were crossed off the list when Connecticut came up with a $29-million loan to keep the team in Hartford.
