Share

USC offensive guard Kris Pollack is expected to be sidelined for at least three weeks after suffering a dislocated shoulder during Saturday’s 27-24 victory over California. He will be replaced by second-year freshman Robert Loya.

USC, which will play unbeaten Washington State on Saturday at the Coliseum, has outscored its opponents during the fourth quarter, 43-0, but has been outscored during the third quarter, 51-14.

Washington State, a 30-17 winner over UCLA on Saturday, has never defeated UCLA and USC in the same season. . . . Washington State is the only one of USC’s next six opponents that did not defeat the Trojans last season.
