NHL ROUNDUP : Lemieux Scores in 10th in a Row
Mario Lemieux scored twice Tuesday night to extend his consecutive goal-scoring streak to a team-record 10 games, and the streaking Pittsburgh Penguins remained unbeaten with a 7-2 victory over the Senators at Ottawa.
Lemieux has 14 goals and 18 assists, with at least two points in every game for the Penguins (8-0-2). It was the Senators’ eighth consecutive defeat. Ottawa is 1-8.
Kevin Stevens had a goal and three assists for Pittsburgh, and Ulf Samuelsson scored twice with one assist. Rick Tocchet and Mike Needham had single scores.
Quebec 4, Tampa Bay 3--Mats Sundin had two goals as the Nordiques (5-3-1) rallied past the Lightning (4-5-1) at Quebec City. The Nordiques fought back from one-goal deficits three times and took the lead for the first time at 9:46 of the third period when Sundin scored his second goal.
