FOUNTAIN VALLEY : Anti-Gang Forum Scheduled Nov. 10
Parents wanting to learn more about gangs, the increase in graffiti and racial incidents are invited to a forum from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 10 at Fred Moiola School, 9790 Finch St.
The Fountain Valley Police Gang Unit and the Orange County Department of Education will be informing those in attendance of the problems associated with gang activity.
Those attending will learn how to identify youths who are involved or those who may become active in gangs and how to help them resist peer pressure.
Programs that are currently being offered to encourage positive decision-making, problem-solving and other skills will also be discussed.
