Jefferson 6, Locke 6--Brian Clark scored on a 65-yard punt return with less than two minutes remaining, but Locke failed a two-point conversion attempt and its Southeastern Conference game against Jefferson ended in a tie.
Jefferson took a 6-0 lead with three minutes left when quarterback Marcus Johnson threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Keith Parris. Locke defender George Morris blocked the extra point.
After Clark scored, Locke tried a two-point conversion, but running back Thurman Spencer was stopped short of the goal line.
Johnson completed 14 of 27 passes for 106 yards.
