OXNARD : FBI Arrests Woman in Bank Robbery

Share

A 22-year-old Fullerton woman has been arrested in connection with the robbery in June of an Oxnard bank, FBI officials in Los Angeles said Wednesday.

Lisa Monique Wayne was arrested by FBI agents Tuesday at her home without incident.

The arrest stemmed from the June 4 robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank at 460 Esplanade Drive in Oxnard.

Bank employees were able to provide agents with a description of the robber and the escape vehicle, all of which led to the identification of Wayne as the suspect, FBI officials said.

If convicted of the federal charge, Wayne could be sentenced to a maximum of 20 years in federal custody and a $5,000 fine.
