Mireya Luis had 12 kills as Cuba defeated the United States, 15-12, 15-5, 10-15, 15-10, in the second round of the FIVB World Super Four women’s volleyball tournament at Osaka, Japan.
Cuba is 2-0, the United States 0-2 in the round-robin. In the other second-round match, Russia defeated Japan, 7-15, 15-10, 15-4, 15-8, leaving both 1-1.
