Cargo Plane Plunges Into Ocean, Crew Survives

DANIA, Fla. —
A cargo plane went down about 50 yards offshore shortly after takeoff Friday, but the five crew members escaped with only minor injuries, authorities said. The DC-7, a four-engine propeller plane, floated long enough for the crew to inflate an emergency raft and jump out.
