Pedestrian Killed in Garden Grove
GARDEN GROVE — A 72-year-old man was killed Sunday afternoon when he was struck by a car in the 9600 block of Chapman Avenue in Garden Grove. Authorities declined to identify the victim, pending notification of relatives.
The driver of the car, a 53-year-old Anaheim woman, was not charged with any wrongdoing.
Police said the victim was jaywalking.
