SPECIAL TO THE TIMES

A Santa Ana that brought dry days and chilly nights to the county this week will dissipate today, giving way to warmer days and nights, the National Weather Service said.

Humidity levels dipped to a shock-to-the-touch-of-metal 11% Wednesday at Lindbergh Field, Atkin said, adding, “ ‘Tis the season for Santa Anas.”
