Beverly Hills : Cunningham Honored

Share

City spokesman Fred Cunningham was recognized by Mayor Robert Tanenbaumat Tuesday’s City Council meeting for 40 years of service.

Cunningham said he was hired by the city in 1952 when David Tannenbaum was mayor and one of the city’s goals was to pave the community’s back alleys. He left briefly to work for a chain of NBC-affiliated radio stations in Montana but returned to serve under 28 mayors, including the present one, who is no relation to Cunningham’s original boss. Cunningham, the city’s public information officer, is the city’s liaison to the community and the media.
