Azusa Pacific Names Urban Affairs Dean
Jesse Miranda of Hacienda Heights has been named associate dean of urban and multicultural affairs at Azusa Pacific University.
Since 1984, Miranda has served as superintendent of the Pacific District of the Assemblies of God denomination. He has also worked as an instructor at the Latin American Bible Institute in La Puente and is president of the Hispanic Assn. for Theological Education.
Miranda has a master’s of education degree from Cal State Fullerton, a doctor of ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena and a doctorate in social ethics from USC.
