DARK ART: About 60 artworks at the UC Irvine Student Center will be covered up with black fabric on Tuesday. It’s part of the fourth annual “A Day Without Art,” when art organizations all over the world darken stages, hold special programs or other activities to commemorate the devastation AIDS has had on the art community (F1). . . . “The biggest battle we fight on college campuses is the sense that AIDS is not going to happen to me,” says David Souleles, director of UCI’s sexual health program.
