Have some compassion for the feelings of the people who are parties to the lawsuit or close to those parties.
The merits of the lawsuit will be determined by the legal process, and you doubtless have a right and duty to report the events as they unfold.
On the other hand, you must not allow Calendar Letters to be used by writers who have an ax to grind with USC Radio’s programming or the personalities who present that programming to express subjective dislikes or to engage in unfounded allegations or purely malicious speculation about what has taken place.
