Parenting Is Still an Open Book
Whatever happened to just plain common sense? What kind of a mother permits her child to have a tantrum in a drug store and allows it to go on until the child “decides” to stop? Doesn’t she realize that she is giving tacit approval for unacceptable behavior?
I am a 70-year-old mother of three relatively well adjusted adults who have no trouble making their own decisions. I think it is because they always knew what they could and couldn’t do. They seem to be raising their own children with that same common sense approach.
