Howard Stern

I wholeheartedly agree with Andrea Sachs (Commentary, Nov. 27) in her support of radio personality Howard Stern. I also consider myself a feminist as well as a humanist but a valid point that must be taken into consideration is that Stern does not discriminate against anyone in particular; he cuts down on everyone equally.

Stern not only implements his freedom of speech but he also raises great controversy, which in turn gets people thinking for a change. Yes, he is a completely tacky and tasteless individual but he is to be admired, if not for his sense of humor, then at least for his courage to take back those rights that we as citizens of the U.S. have fought so hard for.
