USC, UCLA Caught in Cross-Fire Again

Re “Letters in View” (Nov. 29): Letter writer Stephen Teodorovich is certainly correct in calling the Cal-Stanford football game “The Big Game,” although the question should be: How big? Can anyone remember the last time it decided a national championship, a PAC 10 title or a Rose Bowl participant?

And, incidentally, USC did not “buy” their fight song. It was composed by USC dental student Milo Sweet in 1922.
