GETTING ALONG: Latino activists in Santa Ana are still upset about a campaign mailer by the city’s Police Officers Assn. for Mayor Daniel H. Young’s slate. They say it implied that Latinos raise their children to be gang members. Councilman Ted R. Moreno asked for a public apology Monday. . . . It wasn’t exactly what he got. “It’s regrettable that any offense was taken,” the mayor said. “If we are going to get along, we ought to let people learn their lesson and not drag everyone through what is now history.”
