FISHING REPORT : Fish Don’t Mind Rain if You Don’t
Stormy weather turned off many of the fishermen but not necessarily the fish at most Southern California sites this past week.
“The heavier the rain, the heavier the boils,” Vicki Ybarra reported from the marina at Pyramid Lake, where the striped bass were highly active.
Otherwise, activity was slow until the weather improved Tuesday, bringing many limits, although Big Bear Lake’s season appeared ended. Between earthquakes and snowstorms, nobody seemed interested in fishing there anymore this year.
