PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAMS : Martin Joins Saints’ List of Everett Tormentors

The Rams are used to worrying about the pass rushing of New Orleans’ outside linebackers Rickey Jackson and Pat Swilling , but because of the emergence of defensive tackle Wayne Martin, they will have another Saint to worry about Sunday against the Saints.

Martin leads the Saints and is second in the NFL with 14 sacks. Jackson has 11 1/2 and Swilling has 10 1/2.

“Wayne’s having an excellent year,” Saint Coach Jim Mora said. “It’s just been consistent--every game he plays well.”

The Rams said 17,251 tickets remained unsold Thursday for Sunday’s game, which means it will not be televised locally.
