Genisco to Move Facility to Anaheim

Genisco Electronics will move an assembly, engineering and test operations facility from San Diego to its headquarters in Anaheim, company officials said Friday.

The company, which makes electromagnetic filters and indicator lights, plans to transfer about 20 employees to the Anaheim facility or to a maquiladora plant in Mexico, where plating and painting operations take place.

Company officials said that the move to Anaheim will give them greater access to production facilities and administrative systems already in place. The 58,000-square-foot facility also houses a sister division, Solaris Systems, and parent company, Genisco Technology Corp.

The move is expected to be made by early next year.
