MAGIC CURTAIN FALLS
All Magic Johnson has done for the black man is reinforce the image of being an oversexed basketball player with lots of money who’s inclined to make poor relationship choices (“The Magic Diaries,” by Earvin (Magic) Johnson, Nov. 8). I do not find this man wise or articulate. Len Bias, another basketball player, died of an overdose of cocaine; nobody called him a hero.
Johnson is just another tragic disgrace for our people, the black people. White America and the manufacturers of products he endorses soon will drop him like a hot rock.
