‘Life’ and AIDS

Regarding ABC’s “Life Goes On”: We are sick and tired of Jesse McKenna and his ongoing battle with HIV. It’s true that this is a very important issue, but every week it is pounded into our heads. The character is becoming boring and whiny at best.

Why don’t the writers expand the characters of Paige, Drew or even Arnold, the semi-wonder dog? We’ve got the message. Instead of “Life Goes On,” perhaps it should be “AIDS Goes On.”
