SANTA’S LIST: The city of Huntington Beach is touting its new pier sales program, which ends Friday, as “the perfect Christmas gift.” Here’s what you get for your $100 donation: an honorary square foot of pier, your name on the entrance plaque, and a fancy grant deed. . . . About 1,600 had already donated by the summer opening, and another 400 since. But city officials say they have three empty panels for more names. Most sign their family name. But one signature: “Mouse Who Shot the Pier.”
