TOPANGA CANYON : Zoning Permit OKd for Nudist Camp
County planners have approved a zoning permit for a Topanga Canyon nudist park, allowing the resort to stay open.
The Los Angeles County Regional Planning Commission approved the permit Wednesday, ending a 21-year legal battle between Elysium Fields, the county and residents unless one of the parties appeals the decision to the County Board of Supervisors.
An attorney for the nudist park said his clients do not plan to appeal the permit’s numerous requirements for road improvements and fire protection.
