Elevated Rail Not a New Idea

I’d like to congratulate our county officials for favoring a monorail for mass rapid transit, like Disneyland’s, an excellent system that has proven its reliability. My only problem is that building the monorail along the Ventura Freeway will not only cause traffic congestion but will increase traffic accidents caused by looky-loos, increasing car insurance bills for local residents.
I suggest instead that it be located in the flood control channels, or on railway rights of way, or on the major boulevard with the least amount of automobile traffic.
