Toyota Revamps U.S. Executive Lineup: Toyota’s U.S. sales unit has named the executive who previously headed the auto maker’s Lexus luxury car unit to head the Toyota Division. Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. said J. Davis Illingworth, formerly group vice president of the Lexus Division, will become the group vice president of the Toyota Division. Illingworth replaces Al Wagner, who was named group vice president of dealer relations for both the Toyota and Lexus divisions. “We’ve got a bunch of other changes that will be announced in the next four or five days,” said Jim Olson, a company spokesman. “Our business has gotten a lot more complex in the last few years and we were dealing with it with basically the same structure. Now, we are trying to broaden the structure.”
