Joseph R. Schillaci will resign on Jan. 22 as president of Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia to become president and chief operating officer of Petro Co., an El Paso, Tex.-based truck stop company.
Schillaci, 51, has been president of Magic Mountain for the last seven years and is credited with having boosted the amusement park’s attendance. Magic Mountain said Schillaci will begin his job at Petro in February. Petro operates 34 truck stops nationally.
