‘Turtle’ Onslaught: Get ready for another wave of Turtle Mania because the third “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie will be released March 19, accompanied by a surge of promotional hoopla. The Turtle mania will be stirred by major marketing tie-in campaigns led by New Line Cinema, Burger King and Playmates Toys, with more than 20 companies in all set to unveil massive campaigns once the movie is released. The story line of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Turtles Are Back . . . in Time” is said to be “top secret,” but time travel will play a key role. The movie is mainly set in feudal Japan.
