TOP TAPPER: Former Superior Court Judge Judith M. Ryan was given the Orange County Bar Assn.’s highest accolade, the Franklin G. West award, for “outstanding service and leadership.” . . . Ryan’s failed primary bid against Rep. Robert K. Dornan (R-Garden Grove) wasn’t a factor, but shows “the kind of commitment she has to serve the community,” says Bar President-elect Steven McCracken. How persuasive is she? She coaches reluctant jurists in the fine art of tap dancing for the annual bar musical. “She can convince them it’s for a good cause,” he says.
