NORTHRIDGE : Man Fatally Shot in Garage of Home

A Northridge man was shot and killed in the garage of his rented home, Los Angeles police said Friday.
Christ Wetzel, 30, was found dead in the garage of a house in the 9700 block of Crebs Avenue, a quiet residential neighborhood, authorities said.
A trench coat-clad man drove up to the pink single-story house in a faded blue pickup truck at about 10:25 p.m. Thursday, a witness said. He entered the garage, and witnesses heard one gunshot about a half-hour later.
According to witnesses, Wetzel was inside the garage working on a car or boat. The assailant may have gone to the home to have his car fixed, police said.
