Value of Life Is Dropping
According to Jan. 8’s Los Angeles Times: “Lancaster residents’ top priorities for city officials include combatting the area’s growing gang problem.”
Four pages later, another story relates that gangbanger Guillermo Zolozabel, 19, was sentenced to 29 years to life in prison for shooting a 12-year-old girl to death as she pleaded for her life.
He’ll be eligible for parole in less than 15 years.
Seems to me the value of human life in California is dropping faster than our recent rains.
