STYLE: FASHION : Prints Charming

Share

The husband-wife British design team of Sue Timney and Grahame Fowler has graced interior design with some of the most influential trends of our time, introducing high classicism into everyday surroundings via upholstery fabrics, wallpaper and tableware. Now, their distinctive graphic prints decorate casual separates for men and women in a new line for the Seventh Avenue fashion house Go Silk. The collection consists of shirts, vests, scarves, shorts and pants, but the focal point is the beautifully rendered silk shirts and blouses.

Patterns are adapted from architectural details, art masterpieces, ancient maps and calligraphy, yet the clothes maintain a decidedly casual air. Because most of the shirts are trimmed with elaborate border prints, they look best worn untucked with jeans or a simple pair of black leggings.
