Fountain Valley 3, Rosary 0--Karrie Layton had a goal and two assists for host Fountain Valley (6-4-5, 1-1-1).

Marina 5, Westminster 0--Cathy Campbell scored twice, Sarah Heilman had four assists and goalkeeper Carrie Florigan made two saves for Marina (9-2-3, 3-0), which is ranked fifth in the county.

In the Century League:

Canyon 4, Foothill 0--Forward Kim Campbell scored three goals for Canyon (13-2, 2-0) in the first 20 minutes of the game. Krista Broughton, who came off the bench to replace Campbell, scored the visitor’s fourth goal with 10 minutes remaining in the first half. Foothill is 1-2 in league.

El Modena 2, Orange 0--Kristi Hales scored a goal and assisted on another for visiting El Modena (10-3-1, 2-1). Hales assisted Laurie Zemke four minutes into the second half.

In the Empire League:

El Dorado 0, Esperanza 0--Kristee Schmidt made six saves and Nikol Scrivner had seven in splitting the goalkeeping duties for El Dorado (8-6-1, 2-1-1). Suzanne Bennet made seven saves for Esperanza (5-7-5, 2-1-1).

Los Alamitos 5, Cypress 0--Elizabeth Willemse and Laura Kuzminsky each scored twice for host Los Alamitos (11-2-1, 4-0). Cypress is 8-5 and 1-3.

In the Freeway League:

Sunny Hills 4, Troy 0--Center forward Jamie Gardiner scored twice in the second half for Sunny Hills (11-2-1, 3-0), and Rhonda Partida and Jenny Cunningham each scored a goal. Joy Parsell had seven saves for host Troy (7-5, 0-2).

La Habra 2, Sonora 0--Amber Duarte and Stacy Chung scored in the second half for host La Habra (11-3, 2-0).

In the Orange League:

Valencia 6, Western 0--Amber Dickey and Christina Miller each scored twice as Valencia (3-7-1, 1-1-0) defeated Western (3-6-3, 0-2-1).

Brea-Olinda 4, Anaheim 1--Amy Alexander scored twice for Brea-Olinda (7-6-2, 3-0). Anaheim fell to 2-5 and 1-2.

In the Sea View League:

Woodbridge 5, Saddleback 0--Woodbridge (5-5-3, 2-2-2) received goals from Amber Willingham, Anne-Marie Risquez and Devin Nelson in the first half. Jessica Montgomery and Erin Harrell each scored for the visitors in the second half. Gina Toscana had 13 saves for Saddleback (2-8-1, 0-6).

Irvine 0, Corona del Mar 0--Debbie Trujillo had six saves for Irvine (10-4-3, 3-1-2). Laura Prumright had six saves for host Corona del Mar (8-3-4, 4-1-1).

In the South Coast League:

El Toro 6, San Clemente 0--Denise Kenyon scored twice for El Toro (12-1-2, 2-0-1), the county’s top-ranked team.

In Freeway League boys’ soccer:

La Habra 8, Buena Park 1--Grant Froman and Brendan Malm had two goals each for visiting La Habra (6-2-3, 1-0), which led, 5-0, at halftime.

In the Sea View League:

Woodbridge 3, Newport Harbor 0--Jason Szczuka scored twice and Shawn Saunders had one goal for host Woodbridge (7-3-2, 3-1).

In the Sunset League:

Santa Ana 2, Huntington Beach 0--Israel Jimenez scored 10 minutes into the second half for Santa Ana, the county’s second-ranked team. Oscar Hernandez scored Santa Ana’s second goal with an assist from Armando Hernandez. Geoff DeWolf had five saves for Huntington Beach (9-5-1, 4-1). With the victory, Santa Ana (13-1-2, 4-0-2) moves into first place in the Sunset League.
