Yo! Quiero Mi MTV!: MTV, whose worldwide programming is already seen in 210 million households in 70 countries, is going to create a new, customized 24-hour music television network for Spanish speaking viewers. MTV Latin America is scheduled for launch in October and will be based in Miami. In addition to broadcasting south of the border, MTV plans to sell the service to U.S. cable operators and advertisers looking to target the rapidly growing Latino market.
