Man Found Dead in Santa Ana
The body of a 35-year-old man who had been shot to death was found Saturday morning in a rear parking lot of a business in the 200 block of North Sullivan Street, police reported.
The man, who police said had no permanent address, was identified as Michael Karl King.
Lt. Earl Porter said King had been shot once in the head. His body was found by an employee going to work Saturday about 8:50 a.m., Porter said.
Initial investigation determined that the man was killed sometime during the night, but the motive and circumstances of the slaying are not known.
