Smart About Art: Integrating arts into the community will be on the agenda when the California Arts Council and the California Institute of the Arts host the third Governor’s Conference on the Arts at the L.A. County Museum of Art on Feb. 26-27. The conference will focus on how the arts can be used to help communities thrive. Participants will include director and producer Luis Valdez, LACMA director Michael Shapiro and Hugh Davies, director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego.
