If President Clinton were the starting quarterback in the Super Bowl, and in the first two series of plays threw two interceptions that went for touchdowns, he would be lifted.
In his first weeks, his nomination for attorney general had to run for cover and withdraw, his compromise on lifting restrictions on gays in the military raised a furor with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, members of Congress and the public.
