MOORPARK : Camarillo Man Is Robbed on Highway
- Share via
A pair of armed thieves pretending to be motorists in distress robbed a Camarillo man who stopped to help them over the weekend near Moorpark, police said Monday.
Christopher Ludlow, 27, was driving home on California 118 Saturday morning when he saw a car, a man lying face down and a woman waving frantically on the side of the road.
When Ludlow stopped to help, the man rolled over, pulled out a gun and demanded his wallet, Ludlow told police. He said the man took $250 in cash from Ludlow’s wallet and the pair sped off in the car, a maroon, two-door Nissan Sentra.
