NORTH HOLLYWOOD : Ex-Roommate Held in Fatal Shooting
A North Hills man has been arrested on suspicion of killing his ex-roommate after an argument in the dead man’s North Hollywood apartment, Los Angeles police said Wednesday.
William Voorhis, 40, was taken into custody for allegedly shooting James Ault, 43, about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment in the 5400 block of Willowcrest Avenue, Detective Oscar Carbalo said. Ault was shot once in the torso and died at the scene. Officers arrested Voorhis at the apartment without incident, police said.
