Controversy Over Gays in the Military
It is now several days since the beating of a gay man by three Marines--and still no public reaction from our Joint Chief of Staff Chairman Colin Powell.
This was not an isolated example of gay-bashing and, as is so often the case, was achieved using superiority of numbers. There was a time when this would be regarded as cowardly.
Perhaps Powell will give his opinion--in due course.
