YOU’RE IT: County bus officials are making at least some gains against graffiti vandals. The transportation staff boasts about new plexiglass forms on the exterior of many bus windows. . . . At least now when random spray painters--called taggers--leave their handiwork, replacing the plexiglass costs only 10% of what it would cost to replace a window. . . . Also, one bus has had camera equipment the past eight months to record wrongdoing. Results: Tag-free so far.
